Confusion on CBSE Term 1 Result 2022 Date: Students Seek Clarity

There has been a lot of uncertainty revolving around the release date of CBSE Class 10 Term 1 Results and CBSE Class 12 Term 1 Results 2021-22. Students are worried as to when the results will be declared, and even the possibility that the delay in Term 1 results is brought forth by the rising pandemic cases can’t be ignored.

If COVID-19 hits the peak of its third wave from February to April, the chances of CBSE Term 2 Exams being cancelled stand high. In an earlier statement, the CBSE Board had acknowledged the same, and if CBSE Term 2 exams are to be cancelled in near future, the result for the academic year 2021-22 for both Class 10 and Class 12 will solely be made from the students’ performance in Term 1 Examination instead of the combined 50-50% performance from Term 1 and Term 2. This may also be one of the unsaid reasons why the CBSE Board is delaying the results.

Earlier the results were expected to be announced on January 15, 2022, then they furthermore got delayed to January 24, 2022, and even then, the results were not released. Students are advised to steer clear of any claims and must only follow the statements issued by the board. As of January 25, 2022, no announcement regarding the results date has been made. It is expected that the CBSE Board will update its students on their Twitter handle, and for now, the media reports suggest that theCBSE Term 1 2021-22 Results for Class 10 as well as Class 12 will be released by the first week of February 2022.
