DAVV non-Common Entrance Test for 2020 will be conducted between 25th May and 15th June 2020 and will be overseen by the respective Heads of the Departments.
From 25 May onwards, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) will conduct a common entrance test for all non-common Entrance Test courses. The examinations, which will be conducted in offline mode, will be conducted until 15 June. The responsibility of conducting the entrance test has been handed over to the Heads of the Departments of the respective courses.
Dr Chandan Gupta, the spokesperson of DAVV said that the brochure will soon be released which will include all the important details regarding the entrance test like fee, eligibility, total number of seats, number of courses etc. He also added that the committee is yet to finalize the course fee until a few days to come.
Each department has been given the responsibility to conduct this entrance exam in offline mode at the departmental level. The departments have to set the question papers as well.

The final date to conduct the online entrance test is yet to be determined by DAVV officials and talks regarding the same is already underway with the National Testing Agency (NTA). In a meeting headed by the DAVV Vice-Chancellor Dr Renu Jain, discussions over certain aspects of the offline entrance exam like syllabus, number of seats etc made rounds.

As of now, DAVV has a total of 72 non-common entrance test courses of 24 University Teaching Departments for more than 2000 seats. It is expected that the upcoming academic session will see the introduction of some additional courses which will be part of non-Common Entrance Test programmes.
