Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon successfully organized its two-day Annual Management Fest ‘Crest- 6.0’. This was the institute’s sixth installment of Crest. Students from top management institutions such as FMS Delhi, IIM-K, MDI Gurgaon, IMI Delhi and Fore School of Management participated in the fest and represented their skills and business acumen.

The theme of the fest was ‘The Colosseum – Arena for Business Gladiators’ with the aim to bring together potential business leaders on a single platform. Chief Guest of the event, Managing Director and CEO of Petronet LNG Limited, Mr. Prabhat Singh started the fest by lighting the lamp and delivering the key note address. Dr. Himadri Das, Director of Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon went forward with the opening ceremony.
Prominent personalities of the business world were present at the fest to share their perspective, business experiences and judge events. Among these were Mr. Sanjay Singh, Founder & CEO, QorQL; Vice President of Platform Strategy, Datawind Corporation, Mr. Anil Gupta; Director of Xperia Consulting Mr. Sourindra Bhowmick; Mr. Mohammad Saif, Project Lead, Optum Technologies; VP Procurement, Suzuki motorcycle Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Rajeev Budhraja and Mr. Prakhar Srivastava, HR at E&Y.
Numerous events were conducted at the fest such as Battle of Marketors where the participants had to present a Case study presentation on marketing, Dataron – it was about providing analytical solutions for real life problems and others.
Rise of B- Empire was the flagship event of the institute where participants had to present their detailed business plans including targets, ROI, market size and market shares. The event was won by the SIBM Pune team while IIM – K and MDI, Gurgaon were the runners up.

Another major event of the fest was ‘Gift of Gab’ where students had to participate in groups and each team had to present their views on the topic provided by the coordinators. Mr. Sourindra Bhowmick, Director of Xperia Consulting was amongst the judging panel. GLIM Gurgaon team won this event.
