The Gujarat High Court has refused to stay the results of the JEE Advanced 2018 exam. The result is expected to be announced on 10th June.
Justice Biren Vaishnav stated that the JEE Advanced results will be subjected to further orders that may be passed on the next date. The Gujarat High Court also issued the notice to the chairman of JEE Advanced (IIT Kanpur) and has fixed the next hearing of the case on 12th June.
The petitions were filed by three JEE aspirants including Rajesh Rai, Anurag Jha and Chandni Tomar who argued that the clarifications issued regarding answers to numerical-type questions were substantially altered.

The three petitioners had raised their doubts on the fairness of the JEE Advanced examination and its admission process. They also said that the new instructions may affect the all-India ranking of all the aspirants who took the exam.
The petitioners also sought the court’s direction to announce the results of JEE Advanced 2018 according to the evaluation done in consonance of the instructions mentioned in the question papers.
