IIM Jammu becomes the 5th IIM to collaborate with Talentedge for technological solutions to conduct Live and Interactive online executive programs. This will help the institute to expand its reach Pan-India.
The Indian Institute of Management - IIM Jammu has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Talentedge for conducting multi-disciplinary online executive courses. These courses will be helpful for mid-career professionals o upgrade their skills and enhance their knowledge.
It will be a great opportunity for IIM Jammu to broaden its horizon and to expand their courses pan-India after the central government of India concerted J&K into a union territory. Prof B. S. Sahay, who is the director of IIM Jammu has said that this move by IIM Jammu is very progressive and will help to expand its reach across India. He added that online learning is receiving enough popularity and growing among every section of students of the country and the government also is putting emphasis on the development of online learning courses. Mr Sahay also said that he believes this is a great medium for an educational institute for expanding its reach all over. On behalf of IIM Jammu, he expressed that he is very happy to collaborate with Talentedge for this kind of project. The company’s integrated business module will help the institute to impart quality online executive education. The SLIQ infrastructure of the company helps to create a classroom-like environment for online learning. The company will help IIM Jammu for creating ‘Live and Interactive’ online classes.
On behalf of Talentedge, Mr Aditya Malik said that they are excited to take a new IIM under their collaboration. He informed that Talentedhge already works with IIM Lucknow, IIM Kozhikode, IIM Rohtak and IIM Raipur in collaboration. He expressed that in this current era of rapid technological and methodical development which shaping business worldwide, one has to upgrade their skills time-to-time for being able to understand the new trends and in this sector, the IIM’s executive programs are gaining popularity among people.
Hailing this new initiative as a great opportunity, Mr Malik said that they are excited to launch a bunch of executive certificate courses with IIM Jammu which will be multi-disciplinary and highly industry-oriented in nature.
