The CAT 2022 result is expected to release in the second week of January 2023.
The CAT result 2022 has been released by IIM Bangalore on December 21, 2022. The result can be checked by entering the login details on the official website iimcat.ac.in. Now that the result has been released, the IIM Jammu cut off is also expected to release soon. Aspiring candidates must view the cut off released by IIM Jammu and apply for admission if they meet the qualifying cut off.
IIM Jammu is the youngest and the 20th institute added to the list of the Indian Institutes of Management. The majority of the IIM Jammu course admissions are made in the MBA programme offered at the institute. It offers a total of 5 courses at the postgraduate and doctoral levels which are MBA, MBA in Hospital Administration and Healthcare Management, Executive MBA, IPM, and, PhD. Apart from this, a dual-degree course is also offered at the institute. IIM Jammu placements saw an increase of 13% in the average CTC for the 2022 session whereas the highest package was Rs 32 lakh per annum. For admission to the MBA courses at the institute, the CAT scores are required whereas for the IPM programme the JIPMAT scores are a must. For the IIM Jammu PhD admission 2022, the scores of GATE/UGC NET/GMAT/GRE/CAT/UGC-JRF are considered.
IIM Jammu was established in 2016 by the Government of India. Currently, the institute operates from its old campus located in Jammu, Canal Road. The institute will soon shift to the newly inaugurated, 200-acre campus in Jagati. The new IIM Jammu campus is located 14 Km away from Jammu. Moreover, the institute has also set up an off-campus in Srinagar for wider reach. The Jammu and Srinagar campuses have set up a Business Incubator for startups which is called “ThinkIn”.

Every MBA student is required to complete the following courses as part of the program's curriculum:
(a) 64.5 credits of core coursework in the first year;
(b) through the selection of his or her electives in the second year, 48 course credits.
(c) 3 credits from an 8–10 week summer internship programme with a business or organisation.
Additionally, students are permitted to:
(a) Audit Courses (Maximum of 3 courses in the 2nd year) by paying the requisite additional fees.

The IPM programme lasts for five years, with the first three years based on the semester system and the latter two years based on the trimester system (as per the prevailing MBA course structure). The first year will conclude with a boot camp in Ladakh for the pupils. After the sixth semester, the course structure will be combined with the Institute's flagship MBA programme, and students will be expected to satisfy its rigorous academic standards.
Students will perform a social and corporate internship during their second year. Based on their academic standing and course requirements, the third-year students will be accepted into one of the partner universities' foreign exchange programmes. Additionally, students will have the choice to choose a sector-specific focus in the third year of the programme.

IIM, Jammu is constructing its permanent campus on 200 acres of land in Jagti situated about 18 km from the Airport. The new IIM Jammu campus will offer technologically advanced classrooms, hostels, faculty residences and the best infrastructure.
The current campus of IIM, Jammu has a computer centre, library, hostels, labs, sports arena and classrooms with good ventilation.
A fast and dependable computer network with more than 500 devices is available at the IIM Jammu Computer Center. Internet access for the institute is 40Mbps to 1 GBps over leased lines. All of the dormitories, faculty buildings, administrative buildings, classrooms, libraries, laboratories, and sports areas are connected through wired and wireless internet.
For access control, a firewall and a Squid proxy server are employed. 100 pupils may be accommodated in three classrooms, each of which has two projectors and an audio system. To enable 24/7 access to online resources, every faculty and office space has a dedicated LAN connection on the Institute's network. Also equipped with wireless networks are the Mess, Bank, and Security Blocks.
The academic community at IIM Jammu uses the library there as a learning resource centre. The goal of the library is to provide its users with convenient, suitable access to current, pertinent information. IIM Jammu Library has a substantial collection of both printed and electronic materials, including books, journals, e-databases, e-journals, reports, case studies, etc.
Through its membership to e-databases and e-journals, the Library provides easy campus-wide access to digital resources. Additionally, it makes it easy for users to check the real-time availability of library materials from their own computer terminals.

Admission to the MBA course is strictly based on the scores of the Common Admission Test (CAT). This is followed by a Personal Interview through the Common Admission Process (CAP) of all IIMs and a Supplementary Admission Process (SAP 2023) for students who meet the PI shortlisting criteria but do not meet the CAP 2023 cut off criteria.
The JIPMAT exam will be held in July 2023 (first week).
