IIM Kozhikode Invites Applications for Fellow Programme in Management 2017

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kozhikode has called for applications for admission to one of its popular programme - Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) for the academic session of 2017 onwards. The FPM is a full-time fully residential research or doctoral programme in management at IIM K. The duration of this course is 4 years+. The first year focuses on generic management review and development of basic skills to conduct research, while the second year onwards includes advanced level courses.

The various specializations covered under the FPM programme at IIM K include:

• Economics
• Strategic Management
• Finance Accounting & Control
• Quantitative Methods & Operations Management
• Information Technology & Systems
• Organizational Behaviour & Human Resources
• Marketing

Eligibility Criteria for FPM in IIM K:

• M.A, M.Com, M.Sc., MCA, MBA, M.Tech or any equivalent qualification with minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA
• Candidate with CA, ICWA and CS qualification with at least 50% marks or equivalent can also apply
• Candidates with MBBS and LLB degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA can also apply
• Qualified B. Tech or B.E professionals with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA can also apply
• Final year students studying UG are also eligible to apply, only clause being them subject to a final selection procedure by June 30, 2017

Note I - all qualifications must be approved by necessary bodies both in India and abroad

Note II - Candidates with a qualified degree for MBBS, LLB, B. Tech & B. E must have a 3 years work experience to apply to Marketing

Selection Criteria & Qualifying Exam:

Mandatory* - A minimum score of 60% aggregate & 50% in each section is essential to be considered for further selection process.

Relaxation Policy:

Those with a PGDM degree preferably from IIM’s along with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 out of 4.33 or equivalent are omitted from taking these tests.

Selection Process:

• On recommendation of respective areas based on their Qualifying Scores and individual Profiles
• Personal Interview (plus written tests for specific or certain areas) at IIM Kozhikode

Application Process of FMP at IIM Kozhikode:

• The application is online at the official website
• Candidates can opt for two specializations - download a form for referee recommendation, in order to be completed by two (2) referees and attach with the print out of the completed application form

Fee for Application Form:

The form costs Rs. 500 made in Demand Draft. Candidates will have to provide the details of the DD in the online form.

After filling the online form, candidates will have to download and take a print-out of the form, along with the DD payable to ‘Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode at Kozhikode’ accompanied with the following documents:

• Self attested copies of UG and PG certificates as well as mark sheets
• Self attested copy of the Qualifying Examination score card along with the Referee Recommendations (to be written in the prescribed format only)

The above should be sent to Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) Office, IIM Kozhikode, IIMK Campus PO, Calicut – 673570, Kerala.

Note I - Online application as well as physical applications received by their due dates are the only applications that would be considered for further selection processes.

Note II - If a candidate wants to apply to 2 different areas, (s)he will need to fill two separate forms.
