K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research (SIMSR) has opened its gates for admission to the various MBA programmes for the session 2017. Candidates can apply through the exam score of either CAT 2016 , XAT 2017 or CMAT January 29, 2017. Foreign nationals, Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries, NRIs and PIOs can apply through GMAT . The last date to register is February 10, 2017.

Event Dates
Application Process closes on February 10, 2017
Selection of candidates for GD and PI February 27, 2017
GD and PI rounds to be held on March 4, 2017
Announcement of merit list April 1, 2017

How to Apply:

  • Aspiring candidates can apply for SIMSR on the official website of the institute and register for admission process.
  • Enter your credentials such as username, email ID, password and mobile number. Your account confirmation will be sent on the email ID you have registered with. Use these credentials to log in.
  • Fill all the mandatory fields asked in the application form, select your preferable center for Personal Interview round and pay the application fee.
  • Application fees is Rs.2450/- that is payable through credit/debit cards. The fee can also be paid through Demand Draft in favor of 'K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research', payable at Mumbai.

Selection Process:

Students will be selected on the basis of their score in either of the entrance exam mentioned above and their throughout academic development. Weightages for different components basis which selection is done are given below:

Entrance Exam (CAT, CMAT, XAT or GMAT) 30%
PI 25%
GD 20%
Academic Performance in the Past 10%
Outstanding Achievements 7%
Work Experience 8%
