The officials of JAB further confirmed that action would be initiated after conducting a simulated selection process based on previous year’s data. An analysis of the last year’s data will help JAB to figure out whether seats in IITs will go vacant or not.
One of the officials of JAB revealed that the admission committee is planning to conduct a simulated counselling process to sort out whether there are enough aspirants to fill 11,279 B.Tech seats for the academic session 2018-19. According to the data available, there should not be any vacancies this year, he stated.
