As JEE Main 2021 is being conducted four times, viz., February, March, April and May, students have the curiosity to know about the difficulty level of each phase. The March 2021 exam of JEE Main was conducted from March 16 to 18, students can check the detailed shift-wise comparison of JEE Main March vs February 2021 exam analysis. JEE Main 18th March Shift 2 vs 26th Feb Shift 2 Analysis

Based on the feedback received from students and question paper level, we have made a detailed comparison of JEE Main 18th March Shift 2 vs 26th February Shift 2 exam. Check the key highlights here -

  • There is no change in the overall difficulty level of the question paper, and it was moderate.
  • The mathematics section was lengthy and moderately difficult in Shift 2 of March 18, and the same was moderately easy in 26th February Shift 2.
  • The difficulty level of Physics and Chemistry is moderate and easy respectively in 18th March Shift 2 and 26th February Shift 2. However, Physics in February 26th Shift 2 exam was a little hard. 
  • Inorganic Chemistry had more weightage in 18th March Shift 2, while Organic Chemistry had high weightage in Feb 26 Shift 2
  • Modern Physics and Mechanics continued to dominate the Physics section in two shifts.
  • Coordinate Geometry had decent weightage in 18th March Shift 2, while Conics and Straight Lines had decent weightage in Feb 26 Shift2.

JEE Main 18th March Shift 1 vs 26th Feb Shift 1 Analysis

Based on the feedback received from students and question paper level, we have made a detailed comparison of JEE Main 18th March Shift 1 and 26th February Shift 1 exam. Check the key highlights here -

  • In terms of overall difficulty level, there has been no change. The difficulty level of the two shifts was moderate.
  • Compared to the February 26th Shift 1 exam, Mathematics was difficult and lengthy in 18th March Shift 2
  • Physics is easier in the 18th March Shift than the 26th Feb Shift 1 exam.
  • There is no change in the difficulty level of Chemistry, and most of the questions were easy. 
  • The mathematics section had a decent weightage of Functions and Coordinate Geometry questions in the 18th March Shift 1 exam, and the 26th Feb Shift 1 exam had Differential Calculus and Coordinate Geometry.
  • Modern Physics is one of the top sections with decent weightage in Physics in the two shifts.
  • From Chemistry, Physical Chemistry had more numerical-based questions in the 18th March Shift 1 exam, and this was not the same as the 26th February Shift 1 exam.

JEE Main 17th March Shift 2 vs 25th Feb Shift 2 Analysis

Based on the feedback received from students and question paper level, we have made a detailed comparison of JEE Main 17th March 2021 Shift 2 and 25th February Shift 2 analysis. Check the key highlights here -

  • The overall difficulty level of 17th March Shift 2 and 25th February Shift 2 is the same, i.e., Moderate.
  • Chemistry is easier in March 17 Shift compared to the February exam.
  • In the 17th March Shift 2 exam, Mathematics was not only lengthy but also moderately difficult. However, it is not the same case with the 25th Feb Shift 2 exam, and the Mathematics section was not that difficult. 
  • Physics was moderately difficult in two sessions.
  • The calculus topic dominated the Mathematics section in 17th March Shift 2. On the other hand, Coordinate Geometry and Calculus had decent weightage in the February 25 Shift 2 exam. 
  • Modern Physics had decent weightage in two sessions.
  • Physical Chemistry had decent weightage in these two shifts.

  • As far as the difficulty level concerned, there is not much difference between the two sessions. The question paper was moderate in 17th March Shift 1 and 25th Feb Shift 1.
  • The mathematics section turned to be moderately difficult and lengthy in two sessions. Many students reported lengthy questions and time-consuming.
  • The chemistry section was easy in two sessions
  • Physics was easier on 25th Feb Shift 1 than today's shift 1 exam.
  • From Chemistry, Organic Chemistry dominated the question paper in 17th March Shift 1 and 25th Feb Shift 1.
  • From Mathematics, Integration and Vector 3D had decent weightage in 17th March Shift 1, while Coordinate Geometry and Integral Calculus had decent weightage in Feb 25th Shift 1
  • From Physics, Modern Physics & Electrodynamics had decent weightage in two sessions.

JEE Main 16th March Shift 2 vs 24th Feb Shift 2 Analysis

  • Surprisingly, 24th Feb Shift 2 was easy compared to 16th March Shift 2
  • The Mathematics section was lengthy in today's shift 2, and the same was easy to moderate in Shift 2 of February 24.

  • Coordinate Geometry was the chapter with high weightage in today's shift2, while Conics and Vector 3D were top weightage chapters in Feb 24 Shift 2.

  • Compared to the February 24th Shift 1 exam, 16th March Shift 1 exam was easy.
  • From Chemistry, there were more questions from Physical Chemistry in the 24th Feb exam, and the same in the 16th March exam was Inorganic Chemistry.
  • There is no difference with regard to the difficulty level of Chemistry in Feb & March Day 1 Shift 1. It was easy.
  • From Mathematics, Feb 24 Shift 1 exam had more questions from Probability, while the same in 16th March Shift 1 exam was Vector 3D.
  • The syllabus coverage of Physics is balanced in both sessions. There were almost 1-2 questions from each chapter.
  • The Mathematics section was lengthy in 16th March Shift 1 and the questions were mostly calculation-based on Feb Day 1 Shift 1 exam.
