JoSAA 2021 Round 4 seat allotment result has been released on November 10 at 5:00 PM, and the candidates who secured an admission will have only 2 days to complete the seat acceptance process. Steps to Check JoSAA Round 4 Seat Allotment 2021

To check the Round 4 seat allotment result of JoSAA, you can follow the steps mentioned below –

• You can either click on the direct link available on this page or visit the official website josaa.nic.in
• JEE Main Roll Number, Password and Security PIN are mandatory to Sign-In
• The candidate login portal will open on the screen, and click on the option that indicates seat allotment
• If your seat allotment is not as per the first choice, you can select Float/ Slide (if required). If you are satisfied with the seat allotment, select ‘Freeze’
• If you are accepting the seat allotment, upload the required documents and pay the seat acceptance fee

Important Points Regarding JoSAA 2021 Round 4 Seat Allotment

Here are some of the important to note before accepting the seat allotment or selecting Freeze/ Float in Round 4 of JoSAA counselling 2021 –

• Candidates who selected Float/ Slide-in Round 3 and secured a better allotment in Round 4 must note that his/ her allotment made in Round 3/ 2/ 1 shall be cancelled automatically
• Candidates who secured a seat (other than the first choice) and selected Freeze/ Float in Round 4 must note that his/ her allotment will remain till a better allotment is made in Round 5

Freeze/ Float/ Slide Option after JoSAA 2021 Round 4 Seat Allotment

After checking the Round 4 seat allotment result, the candidates will have three options to select –

Freeze: If you are satisfied with the seat allotment, select the freeze option and pay the seat acceptance fee – Rs. 35,000 for UR and Rs. 15,000 for Reserved Categories. Candidates who secured seats as per the first choice will have only the ‘Freeze’ option to choose from.

Float: Select this option only if you are waiting for a better allotment in the next round. This option is available only to those candidates who did not get an allotment as per the first choice. The already allotted seat will not be cancelled until the candidate gets a better allotment (as per first choice) in Round 5.

Slide: Select this option only if you are waiting for a better course allotment within the specific institute in the next round. This option is available only to those candidates who did not get an allotment as per the first choice. The already allotted seat will not be cancelled until the candidate gets a better allotment (as per first choice) in Round 5.
