JoSAA 2020 Document Verification, Required Documents List to be Submitted at Reporting Centres

Here is the list of documents required for JoSAA counselling 2020. Checklist of documents to be submitted at the time of JoSAA reporting.

JoSAA 2020 counselling will begin in June, and the candidates who are eligible for the counselling as per the eligibility rules specified can participate in the JoSAA counselling for the admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs or GFTIs. The candidates registering for the JoSAA counselling must note that he/ she need not upload any documents during registration. After the JoSAA seat allotment, the candidates will have to report to the helpline centre with all the required documents. The list of documents that the candidates need to produce for verification is different for IITs and NITs, IIITs, GFTIs. Therefore, candidates are advised to check the list of documents required to submit at the time of reporting here.

JoSAA 2020: List of Documents Required for NITs, GFTIs and IIITs

The following documents are required to be verified/ submitted at the time of reporting for admission in NITs, GFTIs and IIITs -

Three Passport Size Photographs (the photos must be similar to that was uploaded for JEE Main exam)

Class 12th Mark Sheet/ Certificate

Provisional JoSAA Seat Allotment Letter

Undertaking by Candidate (format will be available here)

Proof of Seat Acceptance Fee Payment (Receipt of Fee Payment)

ID Card (Aadhaar Card/ Class 12th Admit Card/ ID Card issued by last attended School or Junior College)

JEE Main Admit Card

JEE Main Score Card

Class 10th Mark Sheet/ Certificate

Medical Certificate (format will be available here)

Category Certificate (only applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL/ General-EWS)

PwD Certificate (if applicable)

OCI Certificate or PIO Card (If applicable)

Printout of Registration cum Locked Choices of Seat Allotment

Yes. The candidates will have to submit the OBC-NCL certificate which has been issued after April 01, 2020.

The candidates will have to produce the latest EWS-Gen Certificate issued after April 01, 2020.

Class 12th Certificate/ Mark Sheet

Seat Acceptance Fee Payment Confirmation Receipt

ID Card (Aadhaar Card/ Class 12th Admit Card/ ID Card issued by last attended School or Junior College)

JEE Advanced Admit Card

Class 10th Certificate/ Mark Sheet

Medical Certificate

Category Certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL/ Gen-EWS)

Pwd Certificate (if applicable)

DS Certificate (if applicable)

Printout of Registration cum Locked Choices of Seat Allotment

The documents list mentioned above are mandatory, and the candidates will have to make sure that he/ she attends the certificate verification with all the required documents.
