Few students are a source of inspiration to many and one among them is Kalpit Veerwal, the son of a compounder from Rajasthan who topped the JEE Main 2017 by scoring 360/360 marks. He clinched an All India Rank 1 in the JEE Main 2017 examination. The results of JEE Main 2017 examination have been announced on April 27, 2017.
He revealed that he had received a call from the Chairman of Central Board of Secondary Education, Mr. R.K. Chaturvedi who informed him about the news this morning itself. Veerwal stood as the topper in both General and Scheduled Caste category.
Elaborating on his excitement, he mentioned that he was happy to be the topper of JEE Main 2017 examination. However, his focus will be on the next hurdle, i.e., JEE Advanced 2017 examination.
He added that he had never missed the classes and attended them regularly. He used to clarify the doubts whenever necessary from the teachers which further improved his confidence levels.
He further mentioned that he used to study for 5-6 hours at home regularly besides attending school and coaching classes. He has been taking coaching since Class 8 and his family, teachers and Resonance Edventure Private Limited, Udaipur supported him to the fullest. He thanked his parents who took a lot of care of him while he was preparing hard.

Veerwal’s father works as a compounder at a government hospital in Udaipur and his mother Mrs. Pushpa Veerwal is a government school teacher. He has an elder brother who is pursuing MBBS course at AIIMS.
Veerwal’s plan is to secure a seat in Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai and pursue Computer Science Engineering (CSE).
