The Lovely Professional University (LPU) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Mongolian Government to provide IT Training. The secondary and senior secondary school students under the government of Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia will receive training from the leading private university in India.LPU will design the IT curriculum and textbooks for the students of secondary and senior secondary schools who fall under the Govt. of Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia.
The ‘Teaching and Research Training Programme’ will be conducted with the teachers of that country with the aim of strengthening the IT training ecosystem in the whole of Mongolia. The entire training programme will be conducted in the LPU Campus in Phagwara, Punjab. The MoU will also lay focus to make the schools of Mongolia adopt a paperless system.
The MoU was inked by Mr. Ashok Mittal, the Chancellor of the University and Mr. Khaliunbat Myagmarjav, the Governor of the Capital City of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The MoU is signed during the visit of Khaltmaagiin Battulga, the Mongolian President in Delhi.
The Governor, Mr. Khaliunbat expressed his happiness for signing the MoU with the ‘Largest University’ of India. He said that LPU is known for its expertise and quality academics in the IT sector. The improvement of IT education in the schools of Mongolia will play a beneficial role in the future.
Aman Mittal, who is the LPU Additional Director at the International Affairs Division said that technology is the backbone of all the developed economies in the world. He has also expressed his delight for getting to work with the Government of Ulaanbaatar and the Government of Mongolia for Academic Collaboration, Consults and Study Grants.
The MoU between LPU and the Government of Mongolia will benefit the teachers of Mongolia and enhance their skills.
