NEET UG Round 1 Seat Allotment and College Reporting

MCC will release the first round seat allotment result of NEET UG 2021-22 counselling on February 01, 2022. With the release of the NEET-UG 2021 seat allotment result for Round 1, candidates begin their document verification process and reporting at the allotted medical colleges. The NEET-UG 2021 college reporting process, to some students, could be as confusing as is crucial. Not knowing all the options that candidates can opt for after the allotment and before college reporting may get them in a fix. There are certain instructions for Round 1 NEET seat allotment that candidates must follow for successful completion of their admissions to the MBBS/ BDS and other relevant courses. Along with this, candidates must also check their admission status during document verification and college reporting, regularly. NEET (UG) 2021-22 College Reporting Process & Important Instructions

Here are some points that candidates must keep in mind once the result for seat allotment is out:

  • Be it state counselling or NEET AIQ counselling, one of the most important things to remember are all the important documents required in each step. Not knowing which documents would be of use during the verification and reporting process may become a huge hindrance on their way to the admission.

  • Being aware of what their next step would be, should they be satisfied or not satisfied with the allocation, will help them choose the best option. Candidates may get more details about the NEET seat allotment here.

  • Unless candidates have opted for the Free Exit or Seat Up-gradation option after the first round of allocation, if they somehow fail to get their documents verified and report to the allotted colleges before the stipulated deadline, they will lose their allocation.

  • Candidates must begin the reporting process as soon as the allotment result is released as some colleges may take more than 2 to 3 days to confirm admission.

  • After the medical test, when candidates' admissions are confirmed, the colleges send the admission status to DGHS, which informs candidates along with the admission letter.
