The NEET entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) is a national-level examination for applicants who want to pursue a career in medicine at the UG level. What is interesting about the NEET UG exam is that it is a gateway not only for MBBS/ BDS admission but to various paramedical, nursing, veterinary, and related courses. From now on B.Sc (H) Nursing Admission 2022 will also be based on NEET UG.

Across India, the Medical Counselling Committee or MCC is responsible for facilitating the process of admission to various MBBS, BAMS, BYNS, BDS, BUMS, BHMS, AH  and BVSc courses. NEET exam is considered to be one of the most important and daunting entrance exams in India and once candidates qualify the exam, he or she will be able to move forward with the process of checking the results, cutoff marks, counselling and finally gaining admission.

AYUSH or Ayurveda, Yoga, and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy has recently seen a growth of 17% in the past few years. AYUSH is one of the oldest known methods of medical treatment in India and every program that is related to Ayurveda falls under the ministry of Ayush. All these programs last for a duration of 5-5.5 years which also includes 1 year of mandatory internship. Here is a brief list of Ayush courses under NEET 2022:

What are some of the paramedical courses that I can study after qualifying the NEET examination?

There are a number of courses in the paramedical field that students can pursue such as Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, B.Sc. in Optometry, B.Sc in Anaesthesia Technology, B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology, etc.

What is the course duration for the BYNS program?

Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yoga Program or BYNS is a course that requires 4.5 years to complete.

What exam should I prepare for so I can study B.P.T. course?

Without NEET 2022, can I get admission in GMC Nagpur? If yes, then what will be the total fees for 3 years?

Yes, you can secure admission in GMC Nagpur without NEET 2022 score. You will need to attempt the MHT CET exam instead and score more than qualifying marks. The course fees vary from 10k per year to 70k per year depending on which course you opt for. You can check the course fees for GMC Nagpur at for reference.


Can I get admission in medical colleges of India this year if I get 200 marks in NEET 2022?
