Only 70 per cent Inter Syllabus For TS EAMCET

Students who will be taking the TS EAMCET 2022 will be relieved to learn that only 70% of the syllabus in both first and second-year intermediate will be covered for the entrance test. The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education took the decision of Only 70 per cent Inter Syllabus For TS EAMCET Exam because of the pandemic situation. As a result, a number of physical classes needed to be conducted were prevented from being held during the academic year 2021-22.

The committee may also change the aggregate weightage marks to pass the entrance exam for the 2022 calendar year. Previously, the ranks are assigned based on 75% of the entrance exam score and 25% of the intermediate score. This year, the ranks may be determined solely based on the results of the entrance exam 2022 and intermediate scores of candidates will not be considered in the final weightage.

Important Highlights

  • In 2021, the TS EAMCET covered 100% of the syllabus in the first year and 70% of the syllabus in the second year.
  • The committee intends to lower the aggregate marks in intermediate for admissions to various degrees through this entrance exam 2022.
  • Currently, 45 % of marks are necessary for entrance and 40% marks for SC and ST category candidates. These marks will be made less to pass in the 12th class.
  • Apparently, this is being considered since all second-year students were passed based on their first-year results, and second-year students with first-year backlogs were awarded limited qualifying grades in 2021 owing to examinations being canceled due to the pandemic.

Moreover, the government-imposed minimum qualifying marks to all failed students based on the low pass percentage of second-year students in the first-year tests held in 2021-22. The decision by the board on TS EAMCET 2022 deleted syllabus will bring a little relief for the students who will take the entrance exam in 2022
