CBSE Class 10 Board Exams Cancelled, Class 12 Exam Postponed - Latest Updates for Students

CBSE class 10 and 12 board exams 2021 were ust three weeks away. With the increase in the COVID-19 cases, Education Minister has taken a decision to cancel the class 10 board exam 2021 whereas class 12 board exams 2021 have been postponed till 1st June 2021. 1. The Board Exams for Class XIIth to be held from May 4th to June, 14th, 2021 are hereby postponed. These exams will be held hereafter.

2. The Board Exams for Class Xth to be held from 4th May to June 14th, 2021 are hereby cancelled. The results of Class Xth Board will be prepared on the basis of an objective criterion to be developed by the Board.

Students, parents, and teachers from across the country are urging the board to reconsider the same and cancel the upcoming board exams 2021 or to conduct the same online.

In the past, one-week #cancelboardexams2021 has been trending on social media to cancel the upcoming exams which are scheduled to take place in May in offline mode.

An online petition has also been going around to cancel the upcoming CBSE class 10, 12 board exams 2021. The petition has crossed over 1,00,000 signatures. The petitioner Priyansh Gaitone has requested the central government to cancel all examinations' this year as students are already under a lot of stress and pressure due to the increase in COVID-19 cases.

However, the board has assured that adequate safety measures have been taken and arrangements have been made for students and all COVID-19 guidelines will be followed during the upcoming board exams.
