82 candidates out of 1066 applicants have received the K.C. Mahindra Education Trust Scholarship (KCM ET ) . The K.C. Mahindra scholarship is offered to candidates who want pursue Postgraduate Studies Abroad.
The KCMET scholarship aims to offer best higher education to meritorious student India. As per the sources, in 2018, there has been an increase of 45% in the number of scholarship awarded. The major chunk of shortlisted candidates is from the IITs (23 students) and the rest from other prestigious institutions of the country such as BITS Pilani , Sir JJ College of Architecture , National Law Schools, NID, St. Xavier's and Symbiosis.

All the 82 candidates have secured admission in the highly recognised overseas universities such as Stanford, Carnegie Mellon, Oxford, UC Berkeley, Cambridge, Columbia and Pennsylvania. These students will be pursuing their Master’s in subjects ranging from Public Policy to Economics to MBA, to Law and Computer Science.

Mahindra Education Trust & Chairman Emeritus (Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.) said that the education is an important tool to bring the positive change in the society and our KCMET scholarship aims to provide the brightest students from the country with an opportunity to broaden their horizons and excel in their field.
The screening and selection of the candidates were done by a special committee which comprised of leaders such as Keshu Mahinda, Indu Shahani, Founding Dean, ISME, Bharat Doshi, Ranjan Pant, CEO Advisor, Global Strategy Management Consultant & Change Management Expert among others.
KCMET Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must have passed their undergraduate studies or equivalent diploma with a first class degree from a recognised university.
- Candidates must be Indian National who have secured admission or have applied for admission in reputed foreign universities.

The KMCET application process starts in the month of January and interested candidates can apply on the official website.
