Due to the removal of Intermediate weightage in the entrance exam, the ranking system will be solely based on marks scored in the entrance exam. The question paper consists of 160 questions from Mathematics (80), Physics (40) and Chemistry (40). As per the primary feedback, the overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate
The physics section was moderately difficult
Chemistry was also moderate in terms of difficulty
On the other hand, the Mathematics section was moderate but lengthy
The paper was time-consuming, and it had become difficult for some students to answer all questions
Mathematics had almost 3 sums from IPE, and there was a direct question from Probability
The mathematics section had questions from Areas, Definite Integrals, Trigonometry
There were also a decent number of questions from Coordinate Geometry, Calculus and Algebra in Mathematics
Physics had good number of questions from the Mechanics chapter
Chemistry was a balanced section with equal weightage for Organic, Inorganic and Physical Chemistry
