The conducting authority will release the AP EAMCET 2026 rank card via online mode after the announcement of the AP EAMCET results. Candidates are required to download their AP EAMCET scorecard and keep it safe for all the future admission processes. Candidates must note that the AP EAMCET rank card is required at the time of counselling while reporting for the document verification process. The AP EAMCET rank card comprises detailed information regarding a candidate’s performance in the AP EAMCET 2026 exam including marks secured by the candidates, rank, qualifying status and other details related to the candidates.
The ranking criteria for AP EAMCET 2026 will be set by the AP EAMCET authority. The criteria ensure that no error is made during the checking, evaluation, scrutiny, normalisation, tabulation and ranking. The following are the criteria that determine the ranking of AP EAMCET 2026.
The ranking will be based on the AP EAMCET 2026 normalised marks and class XII marks.
Normalised marks scored by candidates in AP EAMCET 2026 will carry a weightage of 75% and 25% weightage will be of class XII marks.
The valid subject groups for class XII marks are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) and Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB).
For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, there will be no specified qualifying marks.

Along with the AP EAMCET 2026 result the authorities will also release the ranks. The AP EAMCET rank will be allotted purely based upon the performance (normalized marks) in the AP EAMCET 2026 exam and the 25% weightage for intermediate marks in the AP EAMCET exam 2026 ranks shall be waived off as a special case for the AP EAMCET 2026 similar to the previous year.
The formula that will be used to calculate the normalisation score of AP EAMCET 2026 is -
GMS + (TAG - GMS) / (TAS - SMS) × (Marks Obtained by the Candidate - SMS)
TAG stands for Top Average Global. It is the average mark of the top 0.1% of all the candidates across all sessions together
TAS stands for Top Average Session. It is the average mark of the top 0.1% of the candidates in the session to which the candidate belongs.
GMS stands for - (Average + Standard Deviation) of all the candidates across all sessions together.
SMS stands for - (Average + Standard Deviation) of the session to which the candidate belongs.
While preparing the merit list for AP EAMCET 2026, there could come a situation when two or more candidates have secured equal scores. In such cases, tie-breaking criteria are used to determine who deserves to be on the merit list. Candidates must know the criteria as this will help them in understanding the procedure of ranking better. The tie-breaking criteria for AP EAMCET 2026 are:
The total marks secured by the candidates in Physics
The total marks secured by the candidates
The total marks secured by the candidates in Mathematics
The percentage of the aggregate marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying examination
If the tie still persists, preference is given on the basis of the Date of Birth (DOB) of the candidates. The older candidate is given preference over the younger one

APSCHE releases AP EAPCET (AP EAMCET) Marks Declaration Form which has to be compulsorily filled by the candidates who have completed their Class 11th & 12th from boards other than Board of Intermediate Education (BIE)- AP & TS. The declaration form is used to declare subject-wise scores in intermediate exams. Candidates are required to mail their declaration forms to the APSCHE headquarters or submit it in person.
