CAT Toppers 2018: List of CAT Toppers, their Score & Percentile

CAT 2018 results have been announced. List of CAT 2018 toppers is available here. IIM Calcutta conducted the Common Admission Test 2018 on 25th November 2018. Candidates can apply for b-schools in India on the basis of their CAT 2018 score.

CAT 2018 result has been announced. It is time for the MBA aspirants to expect calls from top business schools. CAT 2018 exam result was announced on January 05, 2019 at around 10:30 am. Top B-Schools conduct Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds for the MBA aspirants who have cleared CAT 2018 exam. CAT 2018 scorecard can be downloaded from the official website.

With the announcement of CAT 2018 results, the names of CAT 2018 toppers have also come into limelight. Many students scored outstanding percentile in CAT 2018. Last year, 20 students scored 100 percentile and a perfect score in CAT. On the basis of the CAT 2018 score, interested applicants can also apply for MBA admissions here and reserve their seat!

List of CAT 2018 Toppers

Here is the list of CAT 2018 toppers who scored outstanding percentile in the top national-level management exam. These students are expected to receive calls from top IIMs/ B-Schools across the country. This year, all the CAT toppers are from the tech background. Interestingly, all the CAT 2018 toppers are male. On the other hand, out of 32 top scorers of CAT 2018, 30 are frem engineering and technology background.

11 Candidates Score 100 Percentile in CAT Result 2018

This year 11 candidates score perfect 100 percentile in CAT. Rounak Majumdar from IIT Kanpur is one of them. The 22-year-old is currently working with American multinational finance company.

7 of 11 CAT 2018 Toppers are from Maharashtra

Out of 11 candidates who scored 100 percentile in CAT 2018, seven of them are from Maharashtra. This year, IITians dominated CAT results. Interestingly, seven top scorers of CAT completed their graduation in IITs. Jagesh Golwala, a 21-year-old final year electrical engineering student o IIT Bombay is one of the seven students from the state to have scored 100 percentile in CAT 2018.

Candidates aspiring to take admission in IIMs will have to apply individually if they have cleared qualifying cutoff of CAT 2018. Based on the profile of candidates, IIMs will invite the candidates to appear for WAT and PI. Apart from IIMs, students can also apply for other B-Schools that accept CAT 2018 score for MBA admissions. Candidates with 90 percentile & below in CAT 2018 can target some of the top B-Schools in India.
