IIT Hyderabad is inviting applications from eligible designers, engineers, management graduates and doctors for the Fellowship Programme in Healthcare. May 30, 2020, is the last date to register for the fellowship programme.
Centre for Healthcare Entrepreneurship at IIT Hyderabad has invited applications for its two-year fellowship programme in Healthcare sector. The first year of the fellowship programme will focus on training while the second year will completely focus on incubation. Selected candidates for this two-year fully paid fellowship programme will get Rs. 50,000 stipend per month. However, the stipend will be paid only during the training period.

The applications for the fellowship programme in Healthcare are open to candidates from diverse backgrounds including designers, engineers, management graduates and doctors. The selected candidates for this unique fellowship programme will be exposed to deep learning in ‘Bio Design’ process. Faculty from Stanford University will be a part of a fellowship programme to train and mentor the students.
HOD of Biomedical Engineering at IIT Hyderabad explained that the motive of the fellowship programme is to train qualified candidates in applying technological approach for challenging and key healthcare needs in India in a repeatable and systematic manner. Through the training programme that will be offered as a part of the fellowship programme, the candidates will get hands-on clinical experience through effective mentorship. The fellowship programme aims to build an ecosystem of healthcare partners, venture capitalists and industries, she concluded.

The fellowship programme is designed in such a way to simulate an entrepreneurial journey with clinical immersion. As a part of the fellowship, the selected candidates will have a great opportunity to avail the outstanding technical expertise of the research labs at IIT Hyderabad.
