The option entry process of KCET 2021 is set to begin in the first week of November. Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the draft seat matrix of B.Tech and B.Arch courses offered by participating institutes. All these seats are filled through the KCET 2021 counselling. The maximum intake of government engineering colleges in B.Tech is around 240 and the maximum intake of private colleges is 320 to 900. 5% of seats in private engineering colleges are filled under the management quota. A certain percentage of seats are also reserved for candidates belonging to KH (Hyderabad-Karnataka) category. KCET 2021 eligibility list was released on October 27.

The document verification process of KCET 2021 will conclude on October 30 as KEA has given final chance to candidates to verify documents. Once the document verification concludes the notification for option entry and seat allotment will be released. Before the actual seat allotment, KEA releases a mock allotment result to give the candidates a tentative idea of college allotment.
