KCET 2021 document verification has almost concluded, and the dates for option entry are yet to be confirmed. KEA is expected to confirm the dates for option entry and seat allotment after November 2, and the counselling process is expected to begin in the first week of November 2021. Candidates who have obtained a secret key after the document verification are eligible to register for counselling and fill the option form. Once the option entry process concludes, a mock allotment result will be released followed by an actual seat allotment.

October 29, 2021: KEA has extended the last date for KCET 2021 document verification till November 2
October 28, 2021: KEA has released KCET 2021 Draft Seat Matrix for B.Tech & B.Arch
KEA will conduct two rounds of counselling for admission in B.Tech, B.Pharm, B.Sc Agriculture, B.V.Sc and Naturopathy. A special round will be conducted after the second round if seats remain vacant. The draft seat matrix of KCET 2021 counselling has already been released.
Candidates taking part in the option entry process can fill a maximum of 500 options. It is important to fill as many options as possible for better admission chances. Before filling the choice options, the candidates can check the previous year closing ranks/ cutoff of KCET to have a basic idea. A mock allotment result will be released, and the candidates will be allowed to edit/ alter the choices accordingly.

KEA has fixed the document verification deadline till November 2, and an update option entry dates can be expected by November 2. On the other hand, JoSAA 2021 Round 2 seat allotment is set to be released on November 1. Therefore, KEA is expected to go ahead with KCET 2021 counselling after the second seat allotment of JoSAA.
