Karnataka state has 65 unaided, 5 aided and 6 government AYUSH colleges that offer 3,890 seats, out of which, 1,176 seats are filled via the government quota. The colleges offer programmes like BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), Bachelor in Unani, Bachelor of Homeopathy, etc.
