For now, the proposal has included exams conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) and Staff Selection Commission (SSC). IBPS and SSC conduct prelims exams to shortlist deserving candidates and then arranges a mains exam to finalise the best candidates. Due to extreme similarities in the preliminary exam patters, the thought of conducting a CET was raised. NRA would be conducting the CET and sending the final results to the respective recruiters. However, the mains exam would not be conducted by the NRA.
The proposal contains the famous SSC-CGL Examination conducted for the appointment of Assistant Section Officer at various departments of Ministries like Railways, Customs, Income Tax etc. IBPS Clerk exam is also going to be conducted by NRA, however, IBPS PO Exam is out of the NRA league.
