The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Shillong has entered into an agreement with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) for the disbursement of the Signature Award to the topper of the 2-year PGP course offered by the IIM.
Dubbed the ICSI Signature Award, the award will come with a gold medal and will be given to the topper along with a certificate and degree at the annual convocation of the institute. EIRO, the regional North-Eastern Chapter of ICSI, will be responsible for the requisite facilitation for the disbursement of this award.
IIM Shillong will be the 33rd institute to partner with ICSI for this award. So far, a total of 32 institutes including 3 other IIMs -- IIM Raipur, IIM Indore and IIM Trichy -- have signed an agreement with ICSI for the disbursement of the Signature Award. Some other noteworthy names on the list include those of Kumaun University, Nainital, Panjab University, Chandigarh, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune etc.
About the ICSI Signature Award
The Signature Award is an initiative of ICSI under which the institute aims to nurture the best talent from all over India while also facilitating collaborations between higher education institutions in India. As a part of the award, the toppers of B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) exams and selected programmes and papers of IIMs and IITs will be given the Signature Award and a Merit Certificate.

The top three rank holders will also be entitled to a registration fee waiver when signing up for a CS course in the Executive Programme.
