QS has released the World University Rankings by Subject for the year 2020. As per the new lists, some IITs ranks have improved across various subjects, while some premier universities witnessed an improvement in rankings. The institutes have been ranked amongst the top 250 universities across various subjects.

The performance of Indian institutes in the 2020 rankings is better compared to the previous year. All the IITs have improved their rankings this year. The institutes also got better ranks for the management, humanities and arts programmes.
