The University of Delhi is giving second chance to applicants, who submitted the online application form without selecting a single UG course for admission. Now, these students can log in to the official online admission portal of DU and choose any one course that matches their eligibility criteria.
The second chance to amend the application form is also applicable to those candidates who opted for UG courses against the eligibility criteria prescribed by the varsity. The move will help such students in getting admission to DU colleges.
Generally, DU allows students to choose a number of UG courses as per prescribed eligibility criteria. However, the varsity does not allow students to add/ change courses after the submission of online application form. This year, some students failed to choose any course in the application form because of which the varsity is allowing them to make changes in the online application form.
Students who did not choose any course and want to remain a part of the admission system of DU must note that this is the only chance to amend the application and choose any one UG course as per prescribed eligibility criteria. The varsity may not give this option further, as the admissions are progressing at a rapid phase.
So far, around 26,290 seats have been filled out of 56,000. The DU third cut-off list for UG courses will be out on June 30, 2018.
