Sri Padmavati Mahila Visva Vidyalayam (SPMVV) Tirupati has signed MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Lincoln University College, Malaysia on May 26, 2018. The major objective of the MoU is to explore promote cooperation and explore opportunities in education, academic and research.
Vice-Chancellor and CEO of Lincoln University College, Dr. Amiya Bahumik was present at the SPMVV last week to sign the MoU. As per the MoU, the areas of collaboration identified by both the varsities are engineering,nursing, food and nutrition. Both SPMVV and Lincoln University College are also planning to introduce student & faculty exchange programmes.

Expressing his views on MoU, Dr. Amiya Bahumik explained that the collaboration between is a significant step towards fostering ties with various universities for student & faculty exchange programmes. The varsity will take steps for the speedy implementation of MoU that will enable to enhance eligibility criteria and access job market with the added advantage, he added.
Vice Chancellor of SPMVV, Professor Durga Bhavani revealed that the MoU would facilitate joint projects, development projects, exchange of expertise among the faculty members at both universities, introduction of dual/ twinning courses and exchange of students for their Ph.D. courses. The MoU will also motivate post-doctoral fellows for research work, she highlighted.

Dean of International Relations – SPMVV, Professor Sarada stated that the MoU would enable teachers and researchers to make use of libraries, facilities in laboratories of both universities and publication of collaborative research in the areas of mutual interest.
