In a survey conducted by an education technology platform, Gradeup, it has been revealed that students give favour to Online modes of competitive examination preparations. In the survey, the education platform had questioned 10,000 students who had been preparing for various competitive exams such as JEE, GATE, NEET etc.
As per the survey, sources state that 90% of the students had preferred to opt for online modes of exam preparation as they had the convenience of their homes as well as the availability of live sessions. The survey also stated that the students who opted for online modes of examination preparations were mostly students from the state of Uttar Pradesh with Andhra Pradesh and Telangana following respectively.

With the online modes of preparation, the students have access to two kinds of learning, which are recorded sessions or live session. Most of the students, i.e. 63% of the students who had opted for online modes of exam preparation, chose live sessions over recorded sessions, meanwhile, 29% of the students preferred recorded sessions.

The major reasons as to why the students opted for live sessions, as per the data collected from the survey, was the simple reason of being able to clear all the doubts instantly. The students also stated that with the help of the live sessions, they were able to plan a proper study plan for each day. Sources state that some students were even ready to pay extra to be able to take up live classes.
