NEET State Wise Merit List will be out after the NEET result 2020 for 85% of seats in order to begin NEET counselling 2020. The merit list for all-India-quota candidates of 15% seats will also be announced on the basis of NEET cut-off 2020 that has now been released. Such will be able to download the 2020 NEET UG rank letter from the official website. In order to do this, NEET candidates have to enter their NEET registration number, NEET roll number & date of birth. Students who have cleared the cut-offs as set by the MCI can take admission to MBBS and BDS colleges in India. NEET 2020 counselling schedule 2020 has been released by the Medical Council Committee. Registration for 1st Round Seat Allotment has started from 27th October 2020.
NEET UG 2020 Counselling (October 27)
NEET state-wise merit list 2020 will be elemental in deciding the medical colleges that students can avail on the basis of their NEET score. Following the announcement of the NEET state-wise merit list, students will have to appear for the NEET counseling, which will be conducted by the state medical council or state conducting authority. The state-wise merit list will be prepared on the basis of the student’s NEET scores 2020 as well as depending on domicile, reservation policies and other norms & regulations, etc.

In addition, a waiting list will also be prepared by all state conducting bodies, which will be equal to 4 times of NEET merit list.

NEET State-wise Merit List Announcement Process 2020
- Hand-over of merit list of qualified candidates of NEET by CBSE to state conducting body
- The list includes domicile details as well
- State to bring out the final state-wise merit list basis reservation policies, set of eligibility criteria, admission procedure & other rules & norms (differs from state to state)
- State conducting body will hold counselling basis the merit list released by them
In the case of a Merit List Tie-Break for NEET 2020, the following process will take precedence:
- The student with a better score in Biology (Botany & Zoology) will get a higher rank
- The same process to be taken into consideration for Chemistry
- Students with fewer mistakes (in the answer paper) will be given an advantage
- If none of the above measures break the tie, then the candidate older in age will be given preference
