Here are the important instructions specified by KEA to candidates attending KCET 2021 verification from September 30 to October 28 –

  • The document verification will happen rank-wise and the time slot allocated to the respective rank range. Primarily, the candidates are advised to check the rank-wise document verification dates and time slot
  • It is important to report at the helpline centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time slot
  • KEA has set up 29 nodal centres/ helpline centres for certificate verification. The candidate can visit any of the nearest helpline centre as per the scheduled rank-wise date and time slot
  • The candidates will be allowed into the document verification centre as per their ranks and it is important to keep hearing the announcements made from time to time at the centre
  • Candidates must note that no separate document verification is necessary for multiple disciplines. For example, if you had completed the document verification as per your engineering rank, it is not necessary to attend document verification for B.Pharm/ Pharm.D. In simple words, document verification is a one-time activity irrespective of the stream that you want to choose at the time of option entry
  • Document verification done for admission in engineering courses is also valid for other courses/ streams and vice-versa
  • The candidates are required to attend the document verification with original documents and 2 sets of photocopies of all original documents
  • It is important to note that only those candidates aspiring for admission with a valid KCET rank shall attend the certificate verification and no one should represent on behalf of candidates. In simple words, the candidates must be physically present at the centre
  • After the document verification, the candidates shall be provided with a ‘Secret Key’, which will be important for filling the college options
  • Only those candidates completing the document verification process and receiving the secret key shall be considered for filling the college options
  • At the end of each day after the document verification, KEA will release the list of candidates eligible for the KCET 2021 counselling process such as option entry and seat allotment
  • The eligibility list will be placed at kea.kar.nic.in
  • Candidates and parents attending the document verification should follow all the Covid-19 safety protocols such as wearing a face mask, carry a small sanitiser bottle and water bottle
  • It is important to maintain social distancing at the verification centres and cooperate with the authorities for the smooth conduct of the document verification process

Dear Student,

After the KCET seat allotment, it is mandatory for all the students to visit the allotted institute for admission and seat confirmation. In case any candidate fails to visit the campus for admission or to confirm their seats, then his/ her seat is canceled.

You can check KCET Seat Allotment to understand the rules & regulations.

However, you need not worry as you can contact the official authorities of KCET who may help you out with the situation. You can call them on 08023460460 or email them on http://kea.kar.nic.in/ to discuss your query.
