NEET Result 2021 Anytime Now, NTA Files Petition for NEET Re-examination

With the conduction of NEET on 12th September, candidates now await the NEET-UG 2021 results. The NTA has not officially declared the dates yet, however, it is expected to release soon. Read the full story below to know more. 

NEET UG 2021 Result Date

NEET 2021 Result Date: After many rumours of its cancellation, NEET-UG finally took place on 12th September. Being one of the most popular and taken exams in India, candidates now await NEET 2021 exam results. NTA has reopened the NEET Phase 2 registration process. It is compulsory for every examinee to complete the registration process to get their results. The registration window will be closing on 26th October, causing a delay in the release of the NEET result.  Until the deadline, students can use the correction window to enter their details or make necessary changes through the official website of NTA.

28th Oct 2021: The SCI has finally cleared the way for the NTA to declare NEET 2021 result. The Apex Court stated that the results for 16 lakh students should not be put on a hold for only two candidates.

This year, over 16 lakh candidates all around the world applied for the examination to compete against 1,63,347 MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BVSc & AH seats. This was a record-high registration for NEET-UG in history with an increment of 0.13 lakh candidates from last year. As per the NEET 2021 exam analysis, the cutoff for this year is expected to go higher than last year. The NEET expected score for the unreserved category may range anywhere between 720 and 147. Until the results are declared, candidates can calculate or speculate their score through NEET 2021 question papers and solutions of all codes

Phase 2 registration is an important step that needs to be completed by all the NEET participants. Only those candidates who enter their details through the registrations will be receiving their results. Due to the process being such an important step, it is crucial that every candidate gets to complete it. After receiving requests from numerous students to reopen the form filling window, the NTA provided students with another opportunity to enter the second set of information or to correct/ rectify the already submitted details. All the candidates are strongly advised to verify the registered email address and cross-check the entered information. Doing so is of great importance as the registered email address will be used by the NTA to send candidates’ scorecards.

How to Check the NEET-UG 2021 Result?

Once the result of NEET 2021 is out, candidates may go through the following steps to check it. 

  • Visit the official portal of NTA - www.nta.nic.in

  • Look for the direct link to check NEET 2021 result or Score Card on the homepage of the portal under the "Lastest News" section. 

  • Candidates will now have to enter their login credentials to proceed. 

  • Once logged in, they will be able to see their result and download it for future reference.
