Pharmacy is the technique and science of dispensing and preparing drugs. It is a mix of chemical science and health science studied to ensure safe use of pharmaceutical drugs used for treatment and healthcare. B.Pharm, M.Pharm and D.Pharm courses are available in pharmacy colleges in West Bengal. Candidates interested in pursuing this course should compulsorily have science background with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology as major subjects in 10+2 or equivalent board. Candidates should have also acquired at least 45% marks in 12th boards or equivalent if they wish to take B.Pharm for graduation. For M.Pharm, candidates should have 50% in bachelor level degree from recognised pharmacy colleges in West Bengal.
