About CUET 2023

CUET Exam 2023 Phase 4 has commenced on June 05, 2023. The city intimation slip for Phase 4 of CUET 2023 has been released. CUET 2023 admit card for Phase 5 will be released soon. Phase 5 of CUET 2023 will commence on June 09, 2023, and conclude on June 11, 2023. National Testing Agency is conducting CUET UG 2023 exams every day in three slots. The first slot takes place from 08:30 AM to 10:30 AM. The second slot commences at 12:00 PM and ends at 02:00 PM. The third slot is scheduled from 03:30 PM to 06:30 PM. According to the recent update by University Grants Commission CUET 2023 was successfully conducted for 13 days in 303 cities, and 720 centres. The total number of candidates scheduled for the 3 Phases of the examination is 2351209 out of which the recorded percentage of attendance is 72.  Phase I was conducted from May 21, 2023, to May 24, 2023. Phase II of CUET took place from May 25, 2023, to May 28, 2023. CUET 2023 Phase 3 exam was conducted from May 29 to June 02, 2023.

Common University Entrance Test popularly known as CUET is a national-level examination conducted by the National Testing Agency for admission into various undergraduate and integrated post-graduate courses in Central Universities, State Universities, and Deemed-to-be Universities. CUET UG 2023 is going to be conducted in various languages such as Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. The examination will be held in around 410 + centres in India and 24 examination centres outside India.

According to the update given by UGC Chairman M. Jagadish Kumar, around 14 lakh applications have been received for CUET UG 2023. Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University, and Allahabad University have received the most CUET-UG applications. The number of participating universities has been increased to 240+. The participating universities list includes 44 Central Universities, 37 State Universities, 31 Deemed Universities, 118 Private, and 3 other institutions. What is New in CUET 2023?

Every year, some new updates are added to the CUET UG exam and this year too the same has been done as well. Candidates can check the details listed below to know about the updates made this year in the CUET exam. 

  • CUET 2023 Exam began onMay 21st, 2023. Each day, the exams are held in three time slots: 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. 
  • The CUET UG 2023 exam will be conducted in 3 slots in a day
  • This year the University of Kashmir has joined the CUET UG exam as well
  • The 11 new CUET Examination Helpline Centres have been established this year to help students. Now there are a total of 35 CUET Examination Helpline Centres all over India
  • Now the admissions through ICAR AIEEA UG 2023 will be done through the CUET UG 2023 exam
  • A candidate can choose up to 10 Subjects for giving the CUET exam

What is CUET 2023?

Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) is a national-level entrance examination conducted once a year. The CUET UG is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The CUET exam is conducted for candidates  who are interested in taking admission to Undergraduate courses offered by Central/ Public/ Private/Deemed-to-be Universities. 

There are around 168 universities in India that are going to take part in CUET and will be accepting the CUET scores to provide admission. In order to appear for the examination, aspirants must participate in the CUET UG 2023 registration process and fill out the application form. CUET 2023 will be conducted in 13 mediums. 

The CUET (Common University Entrance Test) was made mandatory for students in order to implement the New Education Policy 2020 in the Higher Education System. Students who are looking forward to admission into UG programmes at Central, State, Deemed, and Private Universities across India should take the CUET UG 2023 exam.

CUET 2023 Application Form

CUET 2023 Application Form was released on February 09, 2023 and the last date to fill in the application form was March 30, 2023. Candidates are advised to check the details, required documents and CUET exam eligibility to fill out the application form successfully. Before filling up the CUET application form, candidates are advised to keep the required documents handy as advised by National Testing Agency. Students are required to fill in the correct personal and academic details when filling out the CUET application form. CUET 2023 Admit Card @ cuet.samarth.ac.in

CUET Admit Card was released on May 19, 2023.  Candidates would need to enter the Application Number and Date of Birth to download the hall ticket. Aspirants must note that the admit cards will not be sent to the address of the candidates through posts or couriers. If a candidate is not able to download the admit card from the official website, he/she must contact the NTA helpline on 011-40759000 or 011-69227700 between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm.

CUET 2023 Result

CUET result will be announced by NTA on the official website. CUET UG Results will be announced in the third week of June 2023, according to UGC Chairman M. Jagadesh Kumar. Candidates can expect the result to be out in a few weeks after the exam ends. Aspirants should note that the CUET 2023 result will only be made available through online mode. It will not be sent through courier or post to the address of the candidate.

CUET 2023 Cutoff

CUET UG 2023 Cutoff includes the minimum marks obtained by candidates to qualify for the next stage of the examination. The cutoff lists will be released separately by participating institutes and will vary from course to course and category to category. Candidates who satisfy the cutoff will be invited to participate in the counselling process of the college. Only eligible aspirants will be allowed to participate in the counselling process. CUET 2023 cutoff will be announced a few days after the declaration of the result.

The number of seats on offer basis CUET score in 2023 ranges between 1.5 lakh - 2 lakhs in the central universities of India. Delhi University alone has approximately 70,000 seats on offer for undergraduate courses across its affiliated colleges. CUET exam is conducted only once a year, until now. Students who wish to seek admission in the UG courses offered at Central Universities must appear for CUET exam. Early this year, NTA had notified that CUET will be conducted twice a year, and there will be no limit on the number of attempts for a candidate. However, there is no confirmation on the same yet. We can expect another notification from NTA after the current session of CUET concludes.
