Govt. Girls Polytechnic - GGP
Govt. Girls Polytechnic Raipur was established in 1987 by the virtue of World Bank Scheme. Before this, the organization was named as 'Govt. Technical High School'. After this, special steps for the betterment of women in the field of technical knowledge and to lift up their technical skills, Govt. Girl’s Polytechnic, Raipur came into existence. The organization is connected with the Mumbai-Howrah, South-Eastern Central Railway. It is approximately 4 kms from the Raipur Railway Station and also connected with the NH-6 and state highway. As soon as the Chhattisgarh state came into existence on 1st November 2000 and Raipur become the capital of the state it’s importance became more significant. The organization is approximately 12 kms from the Mana airport. At the time of commencement of the Institution, Diploma course namely, Diploma in Commercial Practice (2yrs. course) was started in the year 1989. In the year 1990 Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunications Engg. was added. Presently the Institution is conducting the following Diploma courses, approved by AICTE New Delhi and affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai The organization is connected with the Mumbai-Howrah, South Eastern Central Railway.
