The 7th Edition of Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Landran NAVTRANG 2K23 was arranged by the Department of Commerce. A two-day inter-college tournament featuring nine events.
"7 Even Scales," a singing competition, is being organised by the Department of Student Welfare. The deadline for registration is April 2, 2023. Auditions to be held on April 5 and 6, 2023.

Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran was established in the year 2001 with engineering as its flagship department. To aid the students in their career pursuit and keep them updated with the latest technology, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran has recently introduced ten new courses to bridge the gap between academics and industrial approach.
The new courses have been launched in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Microbiology, and BBA in Sales, Marketing, Advertising, and Public Relations Management.
B.Sc in Microbiology for medical and non-medical students has been introduced to meet the demand in Medical Research, quality control, and the teaching profession.
Pharmacy courses would help students opt for high-performance careers such as Regulatory Affairs Consultant, Specialist, Associate, Drug Safety Specialist, Drug Inspector, and Medical Information Associate.
BBA in Digital Marketing, Masters in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry are other newly introduced courses. A boot-up camp was set up at the campus for the upcoming fifth season of the annual Entrepreneurial event 'B-Starter'. Admission into any of the courses provided by the college is based on national levels entrance exams like JEE, Punjab MET, and CET conducted by Punjab Technical University (PTU).
The candidate should appear for entrance exams like JEE/ CET and Punjab MET and submit a qualifying score in the same for getting admission into B.Tech at the CGC Landran.
For admissions into M.Tech, the candidate must have a qualifying score in the GATE entrance exam.

Library
The library at the CGC, Landran is well equipped with over 40, 000 books on varied subjects. It has a membership of 10 e-journals and 125 web-based courses through NPTEL. It also has 136 video courses prepared by the faculty of IITs and other leading institutions of India, which are taught online. The library holds subscriptions to many national and international journals, national and regional dailies. The library seating capacity is huge and can accommodate around 300 students at a time. The library at Landran College maintains a separate "Book Bank" collection facility which is accessible exclusively for the merit students.
Lab Facilities
Lab facility for each and every discipline with fully equipped tools is structured at the Chandigarh Colleges like Civil Engineering Lab, Chemistry Lab, Computer Lab, Electrical Lab, Electronics Lab, Mechanical Lab, Medical Lab, Physics Lab, Fluid Mechanics & Fluid Machinery Lab and so on.
Cafeteria
Canteen also has a large seating capacity and can conveniently accommodate 500 students at a time. Hostel
Hostels have semi-furnished and air-conditioned rooms with attached washrooms and common rooms with TV and DTH connections. Other facilities at the hostel include a separate gym for girls and boys, well-maintained reading room, 24-hour security, laundry service, music room, Wi-Fi, 24x7 power supply and a hygienic mess facility with vegetarian meals. Boys Hostel is an In-Campus Hostel along with In-Campus Girls Hostel.
Badminton Court, Basketball Court, Cricket Ground, Tennis Court, Volleyball Courts, Table Tennis Tables are the facilities provided by the Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran for the extracurricular engagement of the students.
Gyms
The college has two different gymnasiums separately for girls and boys with central air conditioning facilities and Instructors and trainers to train the students. The girl's gym is located within the hostel and has the following facilities– treadmills, cross-training, cycling, aerobics, strength machines. The boy's gym also has proper equipment along with – powerlifting, weight training, strength machines, and special training.
A number of cultural fests and events are held at the Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran like Parivartan, ZABAVA , I-tech, AAVEG, ZAHANAT.
The main event or annual event is Parivartan which is held once in a year, that lasts for 2 days long with one day performance of a known celebrity. During the celebration of the annual fest Parivartan, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran undertakes new initiatives every year.
Adhering to the theme of Parivartan, students of the CGC, arranged a visit to Samarth Jiyo (Differently abled Children's Home) and packed the rooms with joyous activities. Since this visit promoted sharing, caring, and love, it was named 'Sneh'. Students and faculty of the Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran, interacted with the children and participated in events like drawing competitions, singing competitions, dance performances, and lemon races. These activities were followed by the distribution of goodies to the children.
Another such event held at the campus of CGC Landran is ZAHANAT, which is a talent hunt event and is mainly held as a part of the fresher's party fest.

Overall: I am a student of B.Tech electronics and communication Engineering (2017-2021). Here everyone gets multiple opportunities to get places, irrespective of their academic shortcomings. I got placed in Sify Technologies Ltd, Chennai at the start of our 7th semester, that too during the pandemic period, when most of the colleges were not conducting any placement drives (Our placement drives were entirely online). Most of the students of my batch were already placed by the end of the 7th sem. Names of some companies are HCL, Wipro, Cognizant, Congruex, TCS, DXC, Coforge, Byju, Microsoft, Zscaler, Capgemini, and many more...
Placement: In short, everyone gets placed, unless he/she doesn't want to. Here, I have attached a screen-grab from my offer letter which I received during my 7th semester.
