The KCET document verification process will begin on October 7, 2022. The candidates participating in the KCET 2022 counselling process must go through the following article to find out the list of documents they must submit during the process. 

List of Documents Required for KCET Counselling Process 2022

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will begin the KCET document verification process 2022 from October 7, 2022. The last date for KCET document verification is October 8, 2022. The Karnataka Examination Authority has announced the new dates on its official website Earlier, the document verification process of KCET 2022 was supposed to commence from August 5, 2022. Once the candidates verify all the important documents for the counselling process as per their ranks.

Documents Required During the KCET Counselling Process 2022

Here is the complete list of all the documents that the candidates must submit during the documents uploading procedure of the KCET 2022 counselling process - 

  • A copy of the final submitted  application form for KCET 2022

  • KCET 2022 hall ticket

  • Class 10/SSLC mark sheet

  • Class 12/IInd PUC mark sheet (in case of provisional mark sheet, the candidate must submit the mark sheet which bears the signature of the principal of the institution from where he/she has completed his/her IInd PUC/Class XIIth studies)

  • 7-years study certificate bearing the signature of concerned DDPI/BEO (CBSE/CICSE study certificate holders are exempted from getting their certificates signed by DDPI/BEO)

In addition to the aforementioned certificates and documents, the candidates have to provide the following documents if they fall under the “Only If Applicable” category - 

Certificate Type

Who Should Submit

Income Certificate

  • For candidates whose total family annual income is less than INR 8 LPA) issued by the concerned Tehsildar

  • Candidates belonging to the GM, CAT-1, SC and ST categories must obtain separate income certificates

Kannada Medium Certificate

Candidates belonging to the Karnataka state or any other state who have studied in Kannada medium from 1st to 10th standard. The certificate should be issued by the Head of the Educational Institution and countersigned by the respective DDPI/BEO

Rural Study Certificate

Candidates who have spent at least 10 full academic years (1 to 10) from any recognised Rural Educational Institution have to submit a certificate issued by the Head of the Educational Institution and countersigned by the respective DDPI/BEO. Such candidates also have to submit an income certificate issued by the concerned Tehsildar

Case Certificate

Reserved category candidates such as SC, ST and OBC (Category 1) candidates have to submit their respective caste certificates issued by the concerned Jurisdictional Tehsildar.  Such candidates also have to submit an income certificate to avail the benefits of tuition fee waiver scheme and various Scholarships

Hyderabad-Karnataka Certificate (Article 371)

Candidates applying in the KCET counselling process through the Hyderabad-Karnataka (Article 371) reservation policy must submit all the important documents issued by the concerned Assistant Commissioner

Parent’s study certificate / Parent’s Hometown certificate / Parent’s Domicile certificate / Parent’s Employment certificate / Parent’s Cumulative Record / Parent’s Marks Card, etc., for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats based on the domicile/study/employment of the parent.

Duly sworn in Affidavit of the candidate who claims eligibility under Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses C and D. (Regarding Mother Tongue)

IDENTITY CARD issued by the Jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner / District Magistrate / Rehabilitation Commissioner, for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats under Jammu & Kashmiri Migrants quota.
