NIT Warangal is one of the institutes that will be working with EcoleCentrale de Nantes, France for a higher education project. There are many other Indian and European institutes which will be a part of this project.
EcoleCentrale de Nantes, France has launched a higher education project which aims to form a very active group in the field of technology and science of best European and Indian higher education institutions. NIT Warangal is one of the Indian institutions among many who will be working on this higher education project.
The other universities who are taking part in EcoleCentrale de Nantes, France higher education project are IIT Guwahati, IIT Madras, IISc Bangalore, IIT Mumbai, IIT Kanpur, NIT Rourkela, Anna University, IIT Roorkee, ISM Dhanbad. The European institutions which will be working on this project are University of Seville (Spain), Instituto Superior Tecnico (Portugal), Centrale de Nantes, Warsaw University of Technology (Poland), Politecnico di Milano (Italy), Technical University Munich (Germany), Politecnico di Torino (Italy), Czech Technical University (Czech Republic) and Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia).
About EcoleCentrale de Nantes, France Higher Education Project
This higher education project is basically a mobility and cooperation program in higher education with an objective to enhance the quality of the European higher education and also to promote understanding among people and cultures through cooperation with the developing countries. This project will also contribute to the development of HR (Human Resources) and the international cooperation capacity of higher education institutions in the developing countries by increasing the mobility between these countries and the European Union.
This program will also provide scholarships of various lengths to scholars, students, researchers and professionals of the developing and European countries which will depend on the priories defined for the concerned developing country, the arrangements or level of studies agreed within the partnership.

This is a very innovative and new project which will give the students, scholars, and teachers of the participating countries a good exposure.
