The School of Business Management at NMIMS (deemed university), Mumbai has bagged prestigious AACSB Accreditation granted by AACSB International. AACSB, also known as the Association of Advanced Collegiate School of Business, is a world’s premier accreditation agency for business education across the globe. With the latest accreditation, SBM of NMIMS joined the famous and prestigious fraternity of B-Schools worldwide.
Chief Accreditation Officer and Executive Vice President of AACSB, Stephanie M. Bryant stated that NMIMS is granted AACSB Accreditation for its commitment and a true reflection of dedication – not only to their greater business community, alumni network and students but to higher education industry as a whole. The addition of NMIMS SBM to the wide network of AACSB-accredited B-Schools will have a significant positive impact on their institution, both globally and locally.

With the new accreditation, SBM will be able to get the access to global network of resources, curriculum development and student learning, innovative approaches to research, learning from inspirational institutions and gaining insights on issues of engagement from professionals.
Recently, Ministry of Human Resource Development granted higher autonomy to NMIMS. On the other hand, NAAC has accredited the institution with ‘A+’ grade.

Expressing his happiness, Dean of SBM, Professor Ramesh Bhat explained that the institution has been delivering quality education and fostering research through several innovative approaches. SBM has played a magnificent role in contributing to the leadership role in management education and research in the country for more than three decades, he highlighted.
Professor Ramesh Bhat further indicated that it was the dream of SBM to achieve AACSB Accreditation. The institution has been working relentlessly for the past seven years to achieve this prestigious accreditation, he added.
