NIT Jamshedpur B.Tech admission is purely based on the performance of the JEE Mains. In contrast, the NIT Jamshedpur PG admission is based on the candidate's performance in GATE, JAM and NIMCET. IIT JAM is for M.Sc admission, NIMCET is for MCA admission and GATE is accepted for NIT Jamshedpur M.Tech admission. GATE 2024 exam date is February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024.

JoSAA has published the NIT Jamshedpur B.Tech cut off 2023 round 6. Before that, JoSAA authorities published round 5, round 4, round 3, around 2, and round 1. The cutoffs will be based on the JEE Main 2023 scores obtained by the candidates. This year, nearly 9.5 lakh candidates appeared for the JEE Main 2023. Students who have passed the exam must apply through JoSAA 2023 for NIT Jamshedpur B.Tech admissions 2023.

Faculty: All the faulty are good in there own way but students of msc chemistry didn't get marks from their faulty as they use to make tough question paper in the examination .
