100 Marks in AP TET 2025 vs AP DSC Weightage Analysis

In the AP TET 2025 vs AP DSC Weightage Analysis, the final score of a candidate will be calculated by taking the AP DSC score out of 80 + 20% of the AP TET score. The expected 20% weightage of 100 marks in AP TET 2025 is around 13.33.

Students who secure 100 marks in AP TET 2025 may wonder what it means in terms of the AP DSC 2026 weightage. To answer their query, the AP TET 2025 is the qualifying exam which students must clear to appear for the AP DSC 2026. The weightage analysis of AP TET 2025 vs AP DSC 2026 allows students to get an idea of what the ideal score is for guaranteed selection. For example, securing a score of 100+ marks in the AP TET 2025 will increase a candidate’s chances of securing a good position in the AP DSC 2026. Only the top 6% candidates will be shortlisted for the final round of selection through the AP DSC. The AP TET 2025 exam is scheduled to be held from December 10 to 21, 2025. Though not officially announced but the AP DSC 2026 is expected to be conducted before May 2026.

Both the AP TET 2025 and AP DSC 2026 are conducted for candidates who want to get shortlisted for the Andhra Pradesh teacher recruitment. The format of the selection process is that there will be a 20% weightage for AP TET marks and the AP DSC score out of 80 marks added together to calculate the final score of a participant. In simple words, the final selection of a candidate will be based on their AP DSC score out of 80 + 20% of their AP TET score. Therefore, a score of 100 marks in the AP TET is considered a good score, although not enough for the merit list shortlisting. Ideally, those who secure 120+ marks usually get featured on the merit list for further shortlisting. The pass marks for AP TET for all categories are provided here for reference to all candidates:

  • For the General Category:90 marks out of 150
  • For the Reserved Categories:60 marks out of 150
