The AP Polycet 2020 counselling process will be done under the supervision of Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) for those eligible candidates who qualify the AP Polycet 2020 entrance exam with the desired AP Polycet 2020 cutoff marks. The web-based counselling of AP Polycet 2020 will be conducted after the AP Polycet 2020 result is declared by the concerned body in the month of May or June (Tentative).
After qualifying the offline AP Polycet 2020 entrance examination, the eligible candidates will be invited to participate in the counselling process for AP Polycet 2020. The candidates will be required to go through various steps such as verification of documents, choice entry, and fee payment as a part of the AP Polycet 2020 counselling procedure. Following the completion of the above-mentioned steps, the eligible candidates will be allotted seats as per their preference and performance in the entrance exam. Other than these, the category to which the candidates belong will also play a very big role during the seat allotment process.
After the seats are allotted to the candidates, they will also be issued provisional allotment letters after which the schedule of the class commencement will be announced.

The detailed counselling process for AP Polycet 2020 will explain to the candidates the step by step AP Polycet 2020 counselling process which will ensure that the candidates do not get confused about what to do once they are called up to participate in the AP Polycet counselling process 2020:
Step 1: Verification of Documents
In this step, the eligible candidates have to report at the Helpline Centres and must carry with them all the required and important certificates and documents along with their copies for getting them verified. The candidates have to be physically present at the Helpline Centres for the verification of documents. Once the documents are verified successfully, the candidates will be handed a receipt confirming the submission of certificates.
Step 2: Online Registration
To participate in the AP Polycet 2020 web-based counselling, the candidates have to register themselves for the same. For registration purpose, the candidates have to visit the official AP Polycet website and go through all the instructions before initiating the process of online registration. In this step, the candidates will be required to create a password for all future activities. Through the account created by the candidates in this step, the candidates will be informed regarding the seat allotment and other important things by the authorities.
Step 3: Entry of Options/Option Entry
This is the most important step in the AP Polycet 2020 counselling process. In this step, the candidates have to fill their choices via the available online method. The candidates will be required to enter their choices in decreasing order of priority. The candidates can also find the previous year rank list data on the same page which will assist them during the process of choice filling. It is mandatory for the candidates to take a printout of the option filling form after submitting their preferences.
Step 4: Seat Allotment
The seat allotment process will begin as per the schedule mentioned on the official website of AP Polycet. Various factors such as the category of the candidates, choices filled by the candidates, the position of the candidates in the merit list will be taken into consideration by the concerned authorities before they finalise the seat allotment. The candidates can check the seat allotment status of the AP Polycet 2020 by logging into the student’s account page. After the seat allotment is over, the candidates will be issued with provisional allotment letters which must be downloaded by the candidates for future use.
Step 5: Reporting & Fee Payment
After the candidates are allotted seats, they have to download the provisional allotment letter within the stipulated time-period and have to report at the Institute where they have been allocated seats. The candidates have to, first of all, report online and then physically report at the Institute allocated to them. The candidates must be aware of the fact that they need to report both online and physically at the allocated Institute, failing to do so will lead to the cancellation of the seat allocated to them.

Those candidates who will be allocated seats they will be required to pay an amount of INR 800/-, which will be non-refundable, as AP SBTET recognition fee. The candidates have to pay all the requisite amount via the available online mode of payments.

Here are the steps that the candidates must follow in order to download the AP Polycet 2020 provisional allotment letter:
The Provisional Seat Allotment letter for AP Polycet 2020 will be updated on the official AP Polycet website.
The candidates have to enter the valid details on the student's login page such as Hall Ticket number, ICR Form Number, Date of Birth and Password and press the Submit button.
The Provisional Allotment Letter will be displayed on the computer screen.
The candidates have to download the same and carry a coloured printout of the same for the purpose of admission.
The candidates must carry the following documents when they will be called up at the Helpline Centres for the verification of documents procedure:

The spot round seat allotment process will be conducted by the authorities in case there are still a certain number of seats remains to be filled after the Web-Based counselling rounds concludes. The candidates must fulfil the following eligibility criteria in order to be considered for the AP Polycet 2019 spot round process:
Should have passed AP Polycet 2020 entrance exam
Should not have joined any Polytechnic Institute via the Convenor AP Polycet 2020 Admissions
Did not participate in the process of documents verification
Did not qualify the AP Polycet 2020 exam
