Karnataka TET 2025 notification will be published on 15th April 2025. The application form will be available on the official website at schooleducation.kar.nic.in to be filled out by the candidates. The entrance exam will be conducted in June 2025 according to the last year's timeline followed by the authorities. The Karnataka TET result will be published in July 2025 to be accessed from the official website. The Education Department of Karnataka will also release answer keys for the entrance exams online for the candidates to predict their scores. There are two separate papers conducted in Karnataka TET. Paper 1 is conducted for the Teachers who want to teach classes from 1 to 5 and the second paper is conducted for classes 6 to 8th.

Eligibility Criteria for Karnataka TET 2025

Only eligible candidates from Karnataka state are allowed to apply for Karnataka TET 2025. The detailed Karnataka TET eligibility criteria below

Age Limit: The lower age limit of the applicants should be 18 years, and the upper age limit will be around 35 to 40 years (relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to reserved category candidates).

Karnataka TET 2025 Educational Qualification:

Educational Qualification for Primary Teachers (Class 1 to 5)

Educational Qualification for Upper Primary Teachers (Class 6 to 8)

  • The minimum qualification required for Primary Teachers is Intermediate (Class 12) with 50% marks (45% for categories).
  • Candidates must have passed Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed) or Bachelor of Elementary Education with at least 45 – 50% of marks.
  • Candidates pursuing final-year EIEd/ Bachelor of Elementary Education also eligible to apply for Karnataka TET 2022.
  • The minimum qualification required for Upper Primary Teachers is (A/ Sc/ Com/ Tech/ BBA etc.,) with at least 45% - 50% of qualifying marks.
  • The candidates must have passed Diploma in Elementary Education (EIEd/ Bachelor of Education (Ed) to be eligible for the post of Upper Primary Teacher.
  • Candidates pursuing final-year EIEd/ Ed are also eligible to appear for Karnataka TET 2022.

Documents Required to Karnataka TET Application Form 2025

The applicants must keep the following documents ready before filling out the online application form for Karnataka TET 2025 -

  • Scanned Copy of a recent passport-size photograph
  • Scanned Copy of Signature

  • Step 4: Enter your user ID and password. If you have not registered on the official website then you need to first register using your information.
  • Step 5: Login successfully and fill out the application form accordingly.
  • Step 6: Upload the required documents.
  • Step 7: Pay the application fees after the verification and take a printout of the duly filled application form for future use.

Selection Procedure of Karnataka TET 2025

The selection procedure in Karnataka TET is rather simple. It includes the following steps:

  • Written Exam: First you are required to appear for an entrance exam which will be conducted by the Education Board Karnataka according to the notification released by them every year.
  • Result/Cut off: The result for the exam is released thereafter and the candidates who achieve cut-off marks as prescribed by the Education Board are provided with their scorecard.
  • Certificate: After the result declaration, the selected candidates are provided with their TET certificate which is eligible for a total of 7 years.
  • Job Application: After receiving the certificate, candidates can apply for a job in the government / non-government school of their choice.

Karnataka TET 2025: Answer Key

Karnataka TET 2025 answer key will be released by the Centralised Admission Cell Bangalore and the answer key will be uploaded on the official website of the School Education Board of Karnataka. After checking the Karnataka TET 2025 answer key, candidates can raise objections if any. To raise objections, the candidates must enter the Application Number and Date of Birth.
  • The Answer Key is available to help candidates match their responses to the questions of the written test
  • The candidates must submit the queries or objections within the period, prescribed by the regulating body.

Karnataka TET 2025 Result

Karnataka TET 2025 Results will be published online in July 2025. The result will be published at least 40 days after the conclusion of the entrance exam. The direct link to check the result will be activated on the official website of the Karnataka Education Board.
