The certificate course, like ITI, is also covered under WBSCC. All the Paramedical courses and all the diplomas in Polytechic are covered under the West Bengal Student Credit Card scheme . Students studying in various coaching institutions to appear in different competitive examinations like Engineering, Medical, Law, IAS, IPS, WBCS, etc, can also avail of this loan under this scheme.

The West Bengal Student Credit Card (WBSCC) Scheme is an initiative by the State Government that aims to provide financial support to 10 lakhs for the students to who want to pursue higher education after class Xth.
