NIRF Law College Rankings 2025 (Out): Top 50 LLB and LLM Colleges in India, State-wise List
The NIRF Law College Rankings 2025 were released today, September 4, 2025. As per the expected list based on previous years' rankings, NLSIU Bangalore has once again bagged the first position in NIRF Law College Rankings 2025.
NIRF Law College Rankings 2025 in India were released today, September 4, 2025. Various parameters are considered while preparing the NIRF law college ranking, such as Teaching, Learning & Resources (TLR), Research and Professional Practice (RP), Graduation Outcomes (GO), Outreach and Inclusivity (OI), and Perception (PR). Last year, the top NIRF ranked law colleges were National Law School of India University, Bangalore (score 83.83), NLU Delhi (score 77.48), NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad (score 77.05), WBNUJS (score 76.39), and more.
Like every year, the Ministry of Education (Government of India) invites colleges and universities to provide data based on predetermined criteria, including law colleges. After collecting the data, they rate law colleges based on the five 5 factors mentioned above. For the past many years, NLSIU Bengaluru has been at the top of the list. It is expected that NLSIU Bengaluru, along with some other NLUs, will hold the top NIRF law college ranking this year as well.
