Jnana Sahyadri campus, Shankaraghatta will host the 26th annual convocation of Kuvempu University on March 24. Eminent economist and ex-Vice Chancellor of University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore S. Bisaliah will deliver the convocation address and the programme will begin by 11am.
Jogan Shankar, Vice-Chancellor of Kuvempu University, also mentioned that honorary doctorates would be conferred upon V. Lakshminarayan, a doctor who has served in rural areas, and industrialist H.V. Subrahmanya.
Governor Vajubhai R. Vala and Minister for Higher Education T.B. Jayachandra will also be a part of the ceremony.
