National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhandhave opened gates for students for admission toPh.D programmes for the Spring Semester 2016. NIT Uttarakhand offers full time and part time Ph.D programmes inMechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Social Sciences (Humanities).
Eligibility Criteria:
- Master's in the concerned or an allied subject with first class or CGPA greater than 6.75 on a 10-point scale.
- Bachelor's in concerned discipline with at least 55 per cent marks at Master's Level (or equal to 6.75 out of 10) with an eligible GATE/SET score.
Selection process:
- Written test and interview.

The candidates are required to pay anapplication fee of Rs 500throughdemand draftdrawn in favour ofDirector, NIT Uttarakhand, payable at Srinagar (Garhwal), Uttarakhand and should be sent to Asst. Registrar (Academic), NIT Uttarakhand.
